We also used high-grade quartz glass, so when that hot filament hits the chilly air of a winter morning, the glass won’t crack from the shock. The heat is fast. Really fast. It’s powerful enough to flash-dry your surfaces in no time. **One quick tip, though:**if you’re putting these in a tiny room with zero ventilation, it’ll get hot in there quickly. Just make sure you’ve got a basic exhaust fan running to push that evaporated moisture out of the house.
A simpler way to stay dry
When you put these in your ceiling, you’re basically creating a “dry zone.” It works like a secondary dehumidifier.
