Material and Design: Halogen, Coating, and Connectors
Inside, you’ve got a quartz envelope filled with halogen gas. That combo keeps the filament steady, so it doesn’t give up when you cycle it hard. On, off. On again. It just keeps going. The tube uses an R7s connector—double-ended, ceramic, built for high heat. It locks the tube in place and shrugs off the shock of repeated start-stop cycles. And the back of the tube?
